Do I need a visa to visit Turkey?

Canadian and U.S. citizens must have a visa to enter Turkey. This visa can be obtained upon entry into Turkey (at the airport) or in prior to departure from one of the five Turkish Consulates in the United States for US citizens, or from Turkish Embassy in Ottawa, Canada for Canadian citizens.

Passengers in transit through Turkey who do not leave their port of transit do not require visas.

Can arrangements be made to visit more than one country after Turkey?

What are the best times to visit Turkey?

Usually spring (April, May, June also July) and fall (Sep, Oct, Nov) are the best times weather-wise. However, the Western region enjoys sunny weather and pleasant temperatures most of the year.

What is the average age of the group?

There is no age limitation in our groups. People can join to our tours from every parts of the world and from every age; unless you have a pre-planned, closed group you wanted us to arrange for a specific tour in Turkey.

Are any vaccinations required for tourists entering Turkey?

There are no vaccination requirements for any international traveler when visiting Turkey.

Arrive Istanbul. Meet and greet. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 Friday - Istanbul
Visit the famous Spice Market, transfer to the pier, take a cruise along the Bosphorus. Next, visit the Asian side of Istanbul, crossing the transcontinental Bosphorus Bridge, connecting Europe and Asia, and return to the hotel. (B,L)

Day 3 Saturday - Istanbul
Chance to visit and discover Byzantine and Ottoman treasures. Enjoy the wonders of the Hippodrome Square, Hagia Sophia Museum, the Blue Mosque, the Royal Topkapi Palace and the historical Grand Bazaar. (B,L)

Drive to Pamukkale via Konya. Visit the Mevlana Museum. Overnight in Pamukkale. (B,L,D)

Day 7 Wednesday - Pamukkale - Kusadasi
Morning visit to the ancient city of Hierapolis, and enjoy the warm mineral waters of Pamukkale, formed by tons of limestone deposits. Drive to Aphrodisias, one of the most beautiful ancient cities in Turkey. Drive to Kusadasi. (B,L,D)

Day 8 Thursday - Kusadasi
Visit the Ionian city of Ephesus from the 1st century BC. Continue to visit the Basilica of St. John and the House of the Virgin Mary, where she spent her final days. (B,L,D)

Drive to Pergamum and visit the Greco Roman city built on four rising terraces and the Asclepion. Overnight in Canakkale. (B,L,D)

Day 10 Saturday - Canakkale - Istanbul
Drive to Troy, the legendary town in the Iliad of Homer, the site of the Trojan Wars. Cross the Dardanelles by ferry, overnight in Istanbul. (B,L)
