Welcome to Turkey! We will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel after a welcome briefing about the tour ahead. Your evening is free at leisure. Overnight in Istanbul at the selected hotel.
Discover the Byzantine and Ottoman treasures of Istanbul. Visit the Royal TOPKAPI PALACE, home of the Ottoman Sultans, the BLUE MOSQUE, unique with six minarets, the Roman HIPPODROME SQUARE and the ST.SOPHIA CHURCH which is considered one of the world’s greatest architectural marvels. Return to the hotel. Tonight there is an optional dinner with belly dancing show. Overnight in Istanbul (B)
Day 3
Istanbul – Canakkale
Departure for Gallipoli. Today we will be visiting the Anzac Cove, Cunuk Bayiri, Gabatepe War Museum, and Lone Pine cemetery. Overnight will be spent in Canakkale after we cross the Dardanelles (B, D)
Day 4
Troy – Pergamum – Kusadasi
The legendary city of Troy, the center of the Trojan War will be visited today – also famous for its wooden horse. We will then continue with Pergamum, an ancient Greek city in the Hellenistic period. It was cited in the book of Revelation as one of the seven churches of Asia. Then a complete visit to the Asclepion, which was known as the first place of medical science. Galen, who originated from Pergamum and became the most famous doctor of his time, treated his patients here. Overnight in Kusadasi (B, D)
Day 5
Ephesus – House of Virgin Mary – Kusadasi
Visit the infamous Ephesus; In the Roman period, it was for many years the second largest city of the Roman Empire; ranking behind Rome, the empire's capital.Then we will visit the House of Virgin Mary. Today there is an optional Tour to Sardis; the capital of the ancient kingdom of Lydia. Overnight in Kusadasi (B, D)
Day 6
Kusadası – Pamukkale
Today we will be driving up to Pamukkale; the ancient Greco-Roman and Byzantine city of Hierapolis was built on top of this white "castle". Visit Hierapolis – a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy the hot springs in your hotel. Overnight in Pamukkale (B, D)
Day 7
Pamukkale – Marmaris
Drive down to Marmaris, one of the most beautiful resort cities in Turkey. Enjoy your free afternoon by the Aegean Cost. Overnight in Marmaris (B, D)
